Promised K-kun (*Kunou) I would do this (don't think I forgot! XD)
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll challenge you to try something.
3. I'll pick a colour that I associate with you.
4. I'll tell you something I like about you.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something I've always wanted to ask you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this in your journal!
You reply, and I'll reply back to you. LOL, ought to be interesting.

Way over 1000 watchers now. Geez, you guys are crazy!
Thank you, I appreciate you guys. (1000? How many of the 1000 are actually active? xD)
One quick thing though, then I'll shut up. For you guys who have been here on DA for awhile (about a year or so?), did you ever have that one friend (or two or three) that was one of the first people you devwatched...and you pretty much were at the same level drawing-wise...(well, there aren't really "levels", but that meaning that you two were both still learning.)
Then it's like, instantly, they surpass you? Like out of the blue, and you don't even know where it came from. Then suddenly they're getting published in magazines, become guests-of-honor at conventions, and every place you seem to go you see their name practically in lights. They're suddenly immensely popular, and you somehow became just another one of the crowd. You just sit there and wonder, "Where do I end up in all of this?" or "How could they have gotten so good in such a short amount of time?"
Your friend seems to be riding a motorcycle, speeding farther and farther away. They've just gotten so good, you'd think they did some kind of special training just to improve that much. You try to keep up; you work harder, you practice, promote, and critique your artwork just so you can try to catch up to them...but it's like running on a treadmill. It doesn't seem to be going anywhere. You just stay in the same place.
Then you and that friend grow apart...you don't even bother trying to tie loose ends because you now feel completely inferior...and pretty soon you're lurking on your friend's page every once and awhile, looking at their new art...seeing how much they've sky-rocketed up there...you don't really talk anymore, and if you do leave a reply now, and if you do get a response, the replies are never the same outgoing, cheerful replies you recieved when you and your chum were first DA n00bs back in the good old days. The replies are distant. I don't mean plastered with emoticons, but they just seem different then before.
Haha, this totally sounds like something from Hikaru no Go.
...I'm rambling. Sorry, just random thoughts. Just on the top of my head, you know? Deviantart drama, WTF. Okay, getting over myself now. 3...2...1.
